Food Storage Made Easy

"You can now purchase cases of wheat, white rice, beans, and oats online through ldscatalog.com for your longer-term supply of family home storage. These items are in addition to the Family Home Storage Starter Kit that was introduced in December 2007. Order today and have them shipped directly to your home." http://www.lds.org/

This is new and exciting! Following the Prophet has never been so easy. If you order the food storage online you do have to pay shipping on each box, which really adds up. But put it this way, if you were never really going to make it to the cannery, the extra shipping is worth it. To place an order, click here http://www.lds.org/

For those of you who do want to save on the shipping, the Bishop's Store House in Colton offers pre-canned boxes of Quick Oats, Rice, Pinto Beans, Potato Pearls, Pancake Mix and the Starter Kit. They are out of Red Wheat.

That is very cool! Thanks for the tip.

You can also go to Sun Organic Farms (.com) and get everything you could possibly want/need for your everyday cooking/food storage in bulk! It is also is much more healthy than some of the options the church puts out for food storage. I love it!

Lorell is one of the queens of food storage. She realy knows how to use the food she stores! Last time I checked she uses her grains daily in all sorts of different ways.

The real question is, what is red wheat, and what do you use it for?

Thanks Sadie, you know I needed this!

Wheat has been hard to get lately here in Utah. The price is rising and the stores are often out.
