Brooklyn Veneta Heywood

Welcome to the world and to our happy family Miss Brooklyn! We love our new little buddle of joy.
The labor for Brooklyn was 4 hours long (my second longest) and was my easiest! She had a bit of a hard time breathing the first 1/2 hour of life but soon got the hang of having lungs and the whole oxgyen thing! From the start she had a great appettite and was a pro at nursing. It is such a joy to hold my baby in my arms after waiting 9 months!
Nicknames run deep in our family. My kids LOVE nicknames. Brooklyn has already been called: Brooklyn Daneta (that's from Olivia),The little, little, little one. Little Lady. Brooke (That's Levi. He doesn't know that Brooke is also a real name, so he thinks hes calling her a nickname!), Brookie, "Wook" (That's from Sabrina) (I'm just waiting for Sabrina to call her "Wookie"). Her uncles have called her "Brooklyn Dodger".

Yay, we love little Brooklyn too! I also love having our babies be so close in age.
Very cool! If we ever had a girl we were going to call her Golden Gate - but alas we only had boys.
Oh, Sadie, she's beautiful! How fun! I love that both litle cousins share your grandmother's name. It's adorable. I cannot believe you all had babies so close together. Yay! Congratulations!!
Congratulations! I didn't even know you had her! She is beautiful!!!
Congrats you guys!! I love her name:) So beautiful and deep seeded in family ties. I bet your other kids are just loving her to pieces.
Ha ha, Wookie. I was thinking it would have been fun to name Ivory Bridget to go along with Brooklyn. It's fun that they are so close in age and share a middle name. Can we call them Best Cousins yet? Sawyer can get in on it, too.
She's so pretty, Sadie! Marc and I were looking at these pictures together and we both agree that you guys make some pretty cute kids. :) Love you!
