Thank you Disneyland for the free ticket on my birthday. Me and my two girls had a great time going on all the little kid rides. Olivia's favorite was Small World which we went on not 1, not 2, but 3 times. Storybook Land was her 2nd favorite. I think Sabrina's was small world and pirates because she got to nurse.

I've always wanted to do the "Princess Faire" with Olivia, and since I didn't have Levi or Braden with me it was the perfect time. When Olivia met the princesses she couldn't get over the fact that they "didn't have sleeves!". Funny, Ariel was the only one covered up!

Like a true Kindrick I milked the Disneyland experience as long as I could. I wanted to stay for the fireworks but didn't think the girls would last in the long tram line for double strollers that piles up after the fireworks. As it turns out we watched the fireworks from the 3rd story of the parking lot-a perfect view.

Some of Summer

I haven't blogged since January 1st? I'll make this my biannual update, that way if I blog anymore in the last part of the year it will shock all of you who still look at my blog.

Happy New Year!

January 1, 2009 Theres something about January that feels so crisp and clean. Christmas decorations get packed away to hide for another year, the last page of the calender is closed, and the hustle and bustle of the holidays slowly simmer down. I always look forward to starting a new year, renewing old affirmations and goals and adding to them. It's a great time to start over again. It's refreshing and encouraging.

Happy First of January!

What is Christmas with no snow?

One day Braden woke up and got ready to go to work. As I walked him to the front door to say goodbye we both saw that it was snowing! He left for work and I just starred out the window enjoying the beautiful scene. Well, it continued to snow ALL DAY! The kids had plenty of time to play in the cold snow but poor Braden was stuck down the hill all night because the pass closed down. The snow stayed on the ground for a week-the last of it melted on Christmas day! So in a way I had my first white Christmas! It snowed so much that our neighbors tree started to come down on our electrical lines. Bro. Rizzo, our neighbor, came to my rescue (again) and brought his chain saw over. He and my neighbor spent the afternoon chopping branches off the tree! Thanks to them our lines were mostly saved! (the weatherhead was damanged).

Because I have a linen closet...

You guessed it. Ever since we've been married Braden has wanted a gun but in the past we haven't had much extra space. The response he always got from me was, "You don't get a gun until I have somewhere to keep my towels". Now that we're in our own house, and I have a place to keep my towels it was time. So I've been saving money every month from the grocery money so Braden wouldn't catch on. Hal did the research for me and picked the perfect gun-a Remington-something-or-other. We both took Braden to the Bass Pro Shop to get the gun! He was so surprised, delighted and I might add impressed that I saved the money without him even noticing! Christmas Magic!

The Big Day

On November 14, 2008 Karen Kindrick (my mom) and Steve Cox were sealed for time and all eternity in the Redlands Temple! It was a wonderful day. My Mom just beamed and beamed and is still beaming.

Mom and Steve's wedding took place 2 weeks after Sabrina was born. Two weeks after Olivia was born my sister Ashley was married. I dressed Sabrina in the same gold dress that Bridey made for Ashley's wedding!

Olivia loved the flower girl dress. She calls it her princess dress and she would wear it around the clock if I let her (sometimes I do).

No Cookies For Brennan

My brother Will made this very short film starring my cute nephews!
